Historical evidence of the ring dates back to at-least the 3rd millennium BC, where the bronze age Indus Valley Civilization molded gold and clay into simple bands.
Ancient cultures loved rings. Egyptians crafted elaborate designs featuring cartouches and hieroglyphics, Roman men often wore several rings on each finger and Anglo-Saxons incorporated runic spells in their bands. more recently Tudors, Renaissance Artists, and Georgians incorporate faceted diamonds.
Our collection spans time from historic rings fit for wedding, to unisex rings which exactly copy ancient designs and everything in-between. We recommend gold or silver, but also carry a handful of gold-plated and brass ring designs at a lower price-point.
