These sterling silver earrings feature Art Deco inspired design with two opals and a pearl at the center. They are playful and unique.
All of our enamel earrings are meticulously handmade using techniques rare in modern enamel jewelry. Delicate wires, twisted and smoldered by hand, create the skeleton of each design. This piece is hand painted using glass powder and baked several times to ensure a perfect finish. The earrings are sterling silver with a 24K gold wash/plating. Hoop back for pierced ears.
The Shashi earrings offered here are vintage stock from the 1970's and 1980's. They were designed by the Shashi Singapuri, crafted by hand, and were part of a line featured on the cover of vogue (quite a handful of times) and numerous other fashion magazines.
