Vintage Shashi Amethyst Deco Gold-Vermeil Earrings

Covered with black hand-applied enamel, these fan-shaped 24k gold over sterling silver settings hold a sparkling amethyst. Hoop backs for pierced ears. Size 1 1/4 inches.

The Shashi earrings offered here are vintage stock from the 1970's and 1980's. They were designed by the Shashi Singapuri, crafted by hand, and were part of a line featured on the cover of vogue (quite a handful of times) and numerous other fashion magazines.
