Cavorting Elephant Box

A Victorian Indian painting of an elephant chasing his mahout, or keeper, is here faithfully reproduced in enamels on the lid of a copper box. Hand-painted, with frolicking elephants circling the box. 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" tall
