Vintage Shashi Le Petit Papillon Enamel Gold-Vermeil Earrings

Madame butterfly shows her wings in this subtle but showy nouveau inspired design. Hand-worked enamel in shades of blue and purple, 24k gold over sterling silver. Measures 3/8" tall x .45" wide.

The Shashi earrings offered here are vintage stock from the 1970's and 1980's. They were designed by the Shashi Singapuri, crafted by hand, and were part of a line featured on the cover of vogue (quite a handful of times) and numerous other fashion magazines.
