Starry Night Lapis Earrings

Starry Night , arguably Vincent's most famous work, depicts the view from his asylum window in Saint-Remy-de-Provence, France. The artist had admitted himself to recover after his 1888 nervous breakdown. Aspects of the painting lead historians to speculate he was suffering from a manic episode while painting it.

The beautiful lapis stones in these earrings invoke the complexity of Vincent Van Gogh's life, and the vivid blues and contrasting yellows gold flakes within the stone mimic the contrasting palette of the painting for which they are named. 24k gold vermeil.
