Vintage Laurel Burch Red Butterfly Gold-Vermeil Earrings

A stylized butterfly flies below a red faience bead in this gold vermeil drop earring. This is a great example of a signature Laurel style - and one of the first butterflies in the Laurel inc line to showcase Laurel's signature style. The twisted antenna, flowing wing shape, and vibrant color palette used on these critters was retained throughout her life. Gold over sterling silver with bright cloisonné enamel work. Measures about 1.25 inches (2 fingers) tall.

Note: Due to each butterfly being enamelled with multitudes of colors no two butterfly are identically same in coloration. Thus, color wise there will be similarities in the left and right earring, but will not be identical.
