Vintage Shashi Iris Gold-Vermeil Earrings

This graceful, Art Nouveau inspired design presents a skirt of iris petals falling from fronds. Handcrafted of 24k gold over sterling silver. This design is usually enameled but presented here with just the gold vermeil base. French backs for pierced ears. Size: 1 1/4 inches.

The Shashi earrings offered here are vintage stock from the 1970's and 1980's. They were designed by the Shashi Singapuri, crafted by hand, and were part of a line featured on the cover of vogue (quite a handful of times) and numerous other fashion magazines.
