Vintage Shashi Karma Carnelian Earrings

Like the rock classic by Culture Club, these earrings are sure to be a hit.

24k gold-vermeil over carnelian stone, each side of these earrings features enamel work in sky blue and purple. Granulated french hook ear-wires.  1 1/2 inches long including the earwires.

The Shashi jewelry offered here is vintage unused stock from the 1970's and 1980's. The pieces were designed by the Shashi Singapuri, crafted by hand, and were part of a line featured on the cover of vogue (quite a handful of times) and numerous other fashion magazines.
