Vintage Shashi Orange Scarab Pendant

This over 3000 year old design is work of timeless elegance. An exact replica of an ancient Egyptian design from the Egyptian Museum of Cairo, these enamel on silver  depict abstracted scarabs in a beautifully detailed geometric design. Silver lever-backs ear wires for pierced ears. Size 2 Inches tall. Same enamel design in front and back.

This pendant currently displayed in Egyptian Museum in Cairo, once belonged to Princess Meretet, daughter of Senusret III.  Circa 1878 - 1839 BC.
