Valentinus was executed in February 14, 269 AD at the order of emperor Claudius Gothicus.

In Christian tradition, Asterius, a Roman Judge, was ready to yeet Valentinus when Valentinus healed the blindness of the daughter of the judge. Valentinus was freed but eventually lost favor with the emperor because of his continued proselytizing. Just before his execution Valentinus flexed by writing a letter to the daughter of Asterius signed "from your Valentine". This caused his lady friend to swoon so hard that some one thousand seven hundred and fifty-one years later men still sign notes this way.

Long story short - whether you swoon to Saint Valentine, creep on his Roman cherub counterpart Cupid, or embrace the Ancient Greek God Eros, we have a design for you.
